Micro
The micro division is for the 3, 4, 5 and 6 year olds who want to have a good time playing soccer. The purpose of this league is for children to have fun.
Within the micro division we offer the following programs which are all co-ed: Toddler, U4 & U5/6.
The micro division ends the year with a soccerfest which allows kids to play 2 shortened games on one day. Participation medals and pictures are usually handed out on this day.
Mini
The mini division is for the 7, 8, 9 and 10 year olds who want to improve their technical skill and start developing a greater understanding of the game.
Within the mini division we offer the following programs which are gender specific for boys and girls: U7/8 & U9/10.
At this age group, practices begin to teach children the basic rules of soccer. As children move through the mini program, coaches transition from helping athletes on the field to strictly being on the bench with the rest of the team. In the under 9 age groups there will be referees supplied for every game.
The mini season ends with a one day soccerfest where teams play three games. Participation medals and pictures are usually handed out on this day.
Junior
The junior division is for individuals between 11 and 18 years of age. The purpose of this division is to continue developing participant’s understanding of the rules, as well as focusing on technical and tactical skill development. Referees are present for all games and scores are reported back to the office on a regular basis.
Within the junior division, 10 programs are available: two under 11 programs (U11B & U11G); two under 12 programs (U12B & U12G); two under 13 programs (U13B & U13G); two under 14-15 programs (U14/15B & U14/15G); and finally, two under 16-18 programs (U16-18B & U16-18G).
Throughout the season, league cup games (denoted LC on the schedule) are slotted amidst regular season games (denoted G on the schedule). Regular season game results determine a league champion, whereas league cup results determine the playoff schedule. Semi-finals and finals are played on one day in mid August.
All children born in 2008 and 2009 are eligible to register for the program that will run on either Saturday or Sunday mornings (your choice upon registration as long as space permits). The cost of the program is $80.00.

This year we are going to run a toddler photo shoot (toddler divisions only) on Saturday, November 5th & Sunday, November 6th from 8:00am – 10:00am. There will not be a re-take day so please make sure your son/daughter attends one of the two days.
All toddlers playing in the indoor toddler division are welcome to attend this photo shoot.
Any siblings of the toddler(s) will not be able to have their picture taken at this time, but can however attend one of the two photo shoots we will be offering in January. For more information about this please visit their particular division pages listed on the website.
The Micro Program is a division for the 4, 5 ,6. year olds who want to have a good time playing soccer. The purpose of this league is for kids to have fun at the younger ages while gradually introducing more skills as the kids move through the age categories. These age groups are split into the following divisions U4 and U5/6. Both groupings are co-ed.
The Mini divison in the when we officially split the boys and girls into seperate divisions forming the U7/8 Boys division and the U7/8 Girls. Both of these divisions participate in their games on Sundays between the approximate time frame of 1:00pm and 8:00pm for a one hours session.
The principle behind the games is to have them enjoy it and then they will want to learn more about soccer as they grow up. Both the co-ed divisions as well as the Mini division end the indoor season with Soccerfest. Participation medals and pictures are usually handed out on this day.

The Kitchener Soccer Club has decided to alter the format of our picture day routine in order to better service our houese league parents and players.

The curriculum of this program will focus mostly on fundamental soccer skills. Some of the topics that will be covered include, but are not limited to: dribbling, passing, footwork, cuts and turns, juggling, shooting, heading and ambidexterity. These sessions will give each athlete a chance to build a strong foundation which will aid them in their future soccer endeavors.
The Development Program will take place on Tuesdays from November until March at Budd Park. The times are still to be determined. Each session is 1 hour in length. The cost of the program is also still to be determined.

If you are at Budd Park for a game, but are scheduled for a different picture day, you may get your pictures taken while you are at Budd Park for your game.
While having your child’s picture taken, please confirm the spelling of your child’s first and last name with the photographer.
You will have the opportunity to view your child’s picture immediately after the photograph has been taken to ensure you receive the image you desire.
