Former Elite Academy Player Named ACAA Athlete of the Week
Submitted By Danielle Byers on Monday, September 30, 2019
Brett Springer, a former 2001 Elite Academy Player, was named ACAA player of the week representing St. Thomas University Tommies Men’s Soccer.  Brett, a 1st year striker, paced the Tommies this week with 4 goals, to tie him for the ACAA lead early on in the season.  “Brett has come into his 1st year at St. Thomas on a mission,” said head coach John-Ryan Morrison. “He is tied for top of the league in scoring and has two game winners to his name already. These goals are added to the four he scored in pre-season. He is an aggressive striker that is a pain to play against and will be causing trouble for ACAA backlines for years to come.”
