U15 B Girls Give Back To Their Community
Submitted By Danielle Byers on Tuesday, September 3, 2019
As part of their season this year, the U15 B Girls team wanted to give back to their community in addition to having a great time playing soccer.  Team sponsor RBC has a program called Make 150 Count for their employees (the coach works for RBC), and through that program, the team was given $150 to give back in their community.  The team chose make care bags for the residents of Lutherwood mental health facility here in the Waterloo region, as we have all been touched with mental health struggles in one way or another.  The photos shows the team with some of the care bags they assembled for Lutherwood.  In addition to this initiative, the team also spent time volunteering at the food bank.  The team showed great character, and has made all of KSC proud!
